Founded in 1989 by Richard Lawrie and Simon Cole, Dragon Security has built a strong reputation as a reliable provider of security system design and installation across Norfolk and the surrounding areas, going from strength to strength over the years.

Situated in Church Road, Hoveton, we are proud to offer a range of security services to suit all budgets, including extended and lifetime warranties. Our engineers are also available 24/7 to carry out emergency repairs and callouts – this service is available even for systems installed by other providers.

We are proud to continuously receive accolades from our customers, and the security industry’s overseeing body, the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), has awarded us Gold Medal status.

Acquisition

In 2024, Dragon Security Systems was acquired by CTS Security. This takeover has allowed us to combine our decades of expertise with CTS Security’s wider resources, ensuring even greater service, reliability, and peace of mind for all our customers.

Accreditations

Our NSI NACOSS Gold certified status provides reassurance to our customers. It incorporates product and quality management system certification. The gold level holds the greatest perceived value across industry and by the police, fire and rescue services and insurers.

The BAFE scheme has been developed for the Third Party Certification of organisations involved in fire detection and fire alarm systems. The scheme recognises the importance of providing compliant systems, whilst at the same time minimising false alarms.

The BAFE scheme’s objective is to allow fire protection system users and regulatory authorities to be confident that the companies providing fire alarm systems have processes in place to effectively undertake such activities. The scheme document specifies conditions to be met by certificated organisations, including the requirement that if a company has additional operational offices, each office must meet the standards of SP203-1 to be eligible for certification and is also separately listed.
